“A History of the World in 100 Objects from the British Museum” exhibition will end on September 9.

Held at the Heritage Museum, the specially selected items tell the story of human civilisation and gobal culture across 2 million years.

They include the first human stone tool from Africa, a chronometer from the ship that carried Darwin on his world voyage and a famous woodblock print from the “36 Views of Mt Fuji” series in Japan.

The showcase is jointly presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and the Trustees of the British Museum, and solely sponsored by the Jockey Club Charities Trust.
